COLLECTIVE GROUNDS / Casal Bianco, Community Forno Casale

Collective Grounds is a community landscape project that reclaims abandoned land to create shared infrastructures of care and everyday life.
The program includes community and educational gardens, a playground, wellness paths, and open-air gymnastic areas.
The design fosters environmental awareness, intergenerational exchange, and collective practices of cultivation and play.
The gardens engage elders, schools, foster homes, and neighborhood residents. They help bring people out of isolation, support ortho-therapy, and cultivate new forms of shared stewardship.
Rather than a fixed architecture, the project operates as a soft infrastructure—growing through care, participation, and time.
