LOW-COST HOUSE / International Architecture Competition, Luanda, 2010

This project proposes a low-cost house structured around a light pavilion and a shaded patio. The open frame allows cross-ventilation and climatic comfort with minimal resources.

The system uses local materials and simple construction techniques. It can expand horizontally or vertically over time, adapting to changing needs.

The patio works as a threshold between domestic and collective life, creating a porous interface where air, water, and social activities circulate. This infrastructural logic enables flexibility, affordability, and resilience.
